Will I have soreness from an adjustment?
Patients experience 3 different reactions to an adjustment. Most commonly patients feel relief and or notice no change. Some patients may experience soreness that evening or the next day. Soreness like that following a good workout. If you haven’t exercised in a while and go to the gym how will you feel the next day? Sore right? The same is true with an adjustment. When we make beneficial changes especially with corrective adjustments we expect your body to react. That’s a positive response to change.
What will happen on my first visit?
The Doctor will take a detailed history and learn as much about your problem as possible. Following that a comprehensive exam will be performed consisting of postural analysis, range of motion study, orthopedic and neurological testing all to determine the cause of your problem. Following that a radiographic study maybe performed.
